JOB TITLE:    Director, Software Engineering

LOCATION:    11000 Optum Circle, Eden Prairie, MN 55344 (Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.)

DUTIES:    Plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as electronic data processing, information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming. Duties include: leading object-oriented design and web development using Agile methodology; designing and working in n-tier architectures; developing client services; designing and developing .NET related software modules of high quality following good software development practices; leading software development projects that provide new or enhanced functionality for both internal and external customers; training and mentoring other technical personnel, providing feedback on code architecture, programming techniques and coding, and unit code testing; working with program management, QA, and customer support groups; and leading and supporting development team to strong Agile maturity; leading large, complex projects; leading multiple development teams to achieve key business objectives; and managing projects, including interactions with other teams and third parties for design and architecture. Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.     

REQUIREMENTS:    Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related computer occupation. Position requires three (3) years of progressive post baccalaureate experience in the following: 
   Leading object-oriented design and Web development using agile methodology (Scrum); 
   Developing client servers in .NET; 
   Designing and working in n-tier architectures, including software as a service (SAAS);
   Implementing Silverlight on commercial applications; and 
   Programming languages such as C#, WPF, SQL, and JavaScript or JS libraries (jQuery).

RATE OF PAY:  $161,221 - $220,572 / per year
