Advise private companies in the areas of audit, tax compliance, and/or planning to help improve their operational efficiency. Lead teams during the entire business life cycle of a private company from inception to growth, maturity, and transition. Lead the design and implementation of personal and customized service plans in the areas of audit and tax that are unique to privately owned entities, entrepreneurs, and high net worth individuals. Direct teams to focus on key issues like wealth management, compliance, cash flow management, equity expansion, divestiture, and exit strategies.
40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field, plus 7 years of related work experience, of which at least 5 years must be of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience.
In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field, plus 5 years of related work experience.
Certification(s) Required: US CPA or foreign equivalent, or member of the Bar.
Must have any experience with each of the following:
- Planning and executing the completion of complex financial reporting compliance matters for clients under GAAP including domestic and multi-national external audits;
- Providing technical accounting and analysis support for clients regarding stock and equity structuring; and
- Assisting clients in the understanding of their internal financial controls and areas for improvement to prevent material misstatements within their required financial reporting to various stakeholders.
80% telecommuting permitted. Must be able to commute to the designated local office.
Domestic and/or international travel up to 20% is required.
