WHY BOX NEEDS YOU
As a Public Sector Sales Director, you will lead a team of Enterprise Account Executives that focus on closing pivotal deals in State and Local Government accounts experiencing high growth. You will join a team of highly motivated, energetic sales professionals that take pride in landing new customers, running strategic sales cycles and delivering the Box message to a wide base of accounts across various industries.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Hire, train, and manage a team of Public Sector Enterprise Field Account Executives
- Develop Account Executives for career growth within the Box Sales organization
- Support team in customer on-sites, calls, and meetings
- Report on sales metrics and forecast to Senior Sales Management
- Motivate team to exceed objectives through coaching and mentorship
- Utilize Salesforce to manage sales process, and set standards for performance metrics
WHO YOU ARE
- 7+ years closing experience selling to large, complex enterprise organizations
- Prior experience working with or for State and Local Government agencies
- Prior success in ECM, Cloud, or SaaS sales management, preferably in the Public Sector space
- Experience with RFI/RFP response at scale, including government technology tools for finding and sourcing contracts
- Experience partnering with SIs and consulting firms to position multi product solutions across specific use-cases or agencies
- Excellent communication, business acumen organizational and time management skills
- Robust Salesforce analysis and reporting and forecasting skillset
- Proven successful track record of exceeding quotas
