As a Procurement Director based in Morgan Hill you will have responsibility for managing the Procurement team to support the breadth of supply chain activities. This person oversees a group that includes Procurement, Supply Chain, and Commodity Managers, Buyers, Supply Chain Specialists, and Shipping/Receiving/Material Center areas. Core to this role includes ensuring a steady supply of materials based on fluctuating demands, effectively managing costs and quality with short and long term strategies. Work closely with suppliers at the top level of management and build strong business relationships to support Anritsu’s goals and objectives. Identify opportunities, develop plans, and execute initiatives to raise the performance of the group across all areas of the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Leader of the Procurement group, which includes Procurement, Supply Chain, and Commodity Management, RMA Specialist, Supply Chain Specialist, Buyers, and Shipping/Receiving/Materials team.
  • Identify and execute strategies to effectively manage and reduce costs through supplier collaboration, new sourcing, global pricing in coordination with Anritsu Japan, negotiation, and monitoring of standard costs.
  • Manage Contract Manufacturing strategies, relationships, processes and performance.
  • Identify potential supply chain disruptions, manage risk effectively, bring resolution with suppliers and escalate when required. Ensure good controls are in place to support on time delivery and quality requirements.
  • Develop and support key commodities and technologies required for Anritsu’s current and next generation T&M equipment.
  • Support and implement regulatory requirements such as RoHS, REACH, and Conflict Minerals.
  • Develop and maintain inventory management strategies to achieve the inventory turns objectives.
  • Hire, evaluate and develop staff in the procurement group to maximize their growth and potential.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, automate functions, and improve group performance.
  • Manage excess and obsolete material processes and achieve the inventory targets and objectives.
  • Monitor demand and review production plan, identifying any issues that may result in
  • Manage strategic supplier performance to meet or exceed Anritsu quality, cost and delivery requirements
  • Provide direction and input for preferred manufacturer program and commodity strategies
  • Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation plans
  • Support global supply chain initiatives and work closely with Japan to improve overall performance
  • This position will be reporting to the Director of Manufacturing & Supply Chain based in Morgan Hill

Requirements:

  • BS/BA degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or equivalent degree
  • Understanding of all Supply Chain aspects of the business
  • Minimum of 7 years supply chain experience, and at least 3 years of management level responsibilities
  • Ability to analyze data and present conclusions.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage tools like Excel to support investigations and analytics.
  • SAP S4/Hana and RapidResponse/Kinaxis knowledge a plus.

The annual base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $200,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
