Key Accountabilities
- Contract negotiation and requests for proposals (RFPs)
- Management of Purchasing Managers, AP Manager and other staff
- Development of strategy, standards policies, procedures and systems (including training of staff) and influence company culture and behavior
- Procurement strategy / analysis of company expenditure / identifying savings opportunities
- Supplier relationship management including supplier development and market research
- Collaborate with staff in the business units who are directly involved in procuring goods and services.
Experience/Qualifications/Education Required
- Bachelor's degree in business or engineering.
- 7 -10 years or equivalent procurement experience.
- Experienced use of an advanced ERP system and development of processes including “Best-in-Class” procurement practices.
- Extensive experience in implementing and managing a range of complex procurement sourcing and contracting negotiations, including development of strategic procurement policies.
- Experience in leading of transformational change in Procurement and matrix environment,
- Leadership skills with a proven track record to convince others through written and spoken communications. Able to deal with resistance effectively.
- Outstanding relationship management skills required to build strong trusting relationships with cross functional stakeholders.
The expected starting pay range for this role is $137,000 to $186,000 USD. This range is an estimate and base pay may be above or below the ranges based on several factors including but not limited to location, work experience, certifications, and education. In addition to base pay, Pattern’s compensation program includes a bonus structure for full-time employees of all levels.
