As our Director orSenior of Finance and Treasury you will:
Be responsible for overseeing financial operations and Treasury activities. The Director serves as a key financial advisor and strategic partner with the Chief Financial Officer for all of SPP. This role combines the financial management, planning, and Treasury functions of SPP to ensure the efficient oversight of financial resources, cash flow, liquidity, and risk exposure.
To be successful as the Director and Senior of Finance and Treasury, we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business Administration or equivalent experience
- Director: Twelve (12) years of experience in Finance or Treasury, with at least 5 in a leadership capacity
- Sr. Director: Fifteen (15) years of experience in Finance or Treasury, with at least 5 in a leadership capacity
- Strong knowledge of financial planning, analysis, and reporting
- Expertise in treasury operations, cash flow management, and risk management
- Familiarity with financial regulations and accounting standards
- Proficiency in financial software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to participate in cross-functional committees
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s in Business Administration and/or CFA preferred
- Electric industry experience and/or knowledge preferred but not required
Travel Requirements:
- This position requires minimal (0-20%) travel
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
- This is a full-time position. Days and hours of workweek are Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Working extended hours may be required.
