Director Of Visual Design / Fintech

HCX, the SaaS platform for investing in people, is just about to emerge from stealth mode, and we’re looking for a talented, innovative, and hands-on Creative Director to join our team.

You MUST have experience managing UX/UI design for websites and mobile apps. You will be hands-on with Visual Design.

You MUST have experience working in-house for a software or fintech company.

Are you a highly creative individual with a passion for leading teams and delivering exceptional website and digital experiences? Have you produced high-quality video content? You will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand identity and leading the marketing and product teams to produce a captivating brand presence.

The Creative Director oversees all aspects of the HCX brand, including marketing, corporate, and UI/UX. You have a track record of producing outstanding creative work for SaaS or software companies and want to get in at the ground floor. If you thrive in a dynamic, early-stage environment and want to shape a new brand from the ground up, this could be a great fit for you.

This is NOT a creative advertising position. If you specialize in display ads, print ads, CPG or or CPG creative, this position is NOT for you.

· Develop and maintain brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels and materials

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategic marketing initiatives that align with brand objectives

· Oversee the creation and production of all visual assets, including digital and print media, video content, and website design

· Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and ensuring timely delivery of creative assets

· Hire, lead and manage a growing team of freelance designers, copywriters, and other creative professionals, providing guidance and inspiration

· Work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to understand their vision and deliver creative solutions that exceed their expectations

Remote, you can work from anywhere in the United States.

West Coast / Pacific time is preferred.

Requirements

• 5+ years as a Visual Designer specializing in digital media
• Must have 2+ years working in-house at a software, mobile app or SaaS firm.
• Startup experience wearing multiple hats highly is highly desirable
• Experience in financial services, investment services or fintech is highly desirable

• Bachelor's degree in design, marketing, or a related field preferred
• Proven experience as a creative director or a similar leadership role in a creative agency or in-house creative team
• Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of creative projects including website design, landing page design, UX/UI and branding.
• You love Figma. You also have experience using Canva, generative AI tools, and Adobe Creative Suite, as well as raw HTML and CSS
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate ideas and concepts
• Must have a keen attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
