YOUR MISSION

The Director of Strategic Portfolio Management  (IT & Security) 

will lead and influence the strategy and execution of high-impact roadmaps, critical to advancing our Infrastructure Security organization, consisting of IT, Information Security and Facilities/Physical Security.   

The Strategic Portfolio Manager will champion project delivery lifecycle management frameworks, performance reporting and the development and maintenance of best practices through disciplined project and Portfolio Management processes. This role will contribute to the strategic direction of the portfolio communicating progress across senior leadership teams, to include the ELT while ensuring resources are effectively allocated to maximize impact to investments.  

To be successful in this role you will leverage both qualitative and quantitative data to provide valuable insights for decision making, particularly around high-impact challenges and turning them into concrete decision points while acting decisively.  

This role will report to the Chief Information Security Officer serving as a trusted advisor and valued business partner across technology teams, internal and external partners, and deeply partner across the director levels.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

• • Manage the Infrastructure Security portfolio, interdependencies, risk-based prioritization, ensuring the steward the project lifecycle from initiation to closure ensuring success of all initiatives. 
  • Identify, develop, and maintain stakeholder engagement strategies and plans, facilitating open communication and ensuring effective business decision-making processes.  
  • Conduct business process improvements, design business processes to identify alternative solutions, and improve efficiency and effectiveness.  
  • Build a vision of how the Infrastructure Security Organization's strategy is deployed, while identifying critical opportunities across the portfolio with the goal of enhancing program delivery, while identifying any risks.  
  • Support activities required for the realization of each part of the organization to include establishing scorecard metrics/KPI's. 
  • Partnership with key stakeholders across the business developing valuable metrics, tooling, and reporting. 
  • Critical focus on prioritizing team commitments amidst competing business demands and recommend paths forward focused on enabling the business. 
  • Be an advocate of our portfolio focused on process excellence and continuous improvement.  Thrives in a rapid environment choosing collaboration over silos.  
  • Drives strategy, learns through experimentation, and adapts as new information and knowledge becomes available

QUALIFICATIONS

• • Bachelor's degree in business management, Computer or Information Science, IT or another related field. 
  • At least 7 years of IT or Cybersecurity experience in program, project, or process management 
  • Proven experience delivering IT or Cybersecurity transformations with contributions across people, process, and technology. 
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with emphasis on storytelling and the ability to create compelling presentations. 
  • Understanding of Critical Success Factors, KPI's. 
  • Applied knowledge of NIST CSF and RMF frameworks. 

COMPENSATION

• Base Salary: $160,000 to $200,000
• Equity + Benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental Leave

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Work Location: this role will be fully onsite at our GravityWorks factory in Centennial, CO
• Work environment is in a standard office, working at a desk or in a production factory.
• Physical demands may include frequent standing, sitting, walking, or bending
