Position: Sterile Processing Director
Location: 100 High Street, Buffalo, NY 14203
Shift: M-F with choice of shift: 6:30am - 2:30pm or 2:30pm - 10pm, or 10:30pm - 6:30am. Other days (weekends and holidays) as needed. No holidays.
Pay: Full-time salary position depends on experience between $95,503 - $149,366 annually. Benefits include 33 PTO days, Sick pay, Health insurance, 403 (b) employer match; employee discounts at local companies, and more.
Position Requirements:
- Certifications: Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT)
- Experience: 5 years of SPD, 2 years of SPD management
- Education: BSN
Position Summary and Responsibilities
This position is a great opportunity to take a true leadership role in SPD and implement changes. It provides an ability to be part of an organization that does high-end procedures and robotics. The director would assist in the administration, direction, planning, coordination, and execution of assigned operational and financial responsibilities related to the staff and operation modeling, and programmatic design of the Central Sterile Processing Department at Buffalo General Medical Center. The hospital has 23 ORs, 6 Endo suites, 15 cath/procedure labs.
