Director Of Sales

The Holiday Inn Orlando East - UCF Area Hotel is looking for an experienced, positive and energetic Director of Sales (DOS) to head the Sales Department.

The DOS is responsible for driving room and banquet sales for the hotel, as well as overseeing, energizing and motivating the entire sales department. The DOS will coach, train and mentor as necessary. The candidate will also be a key part of the Management Team at the hotel and will often need to perform MOD duties, assist with problem resolution, guest relations and assist in any other areas of the hotel as needed. The individual must have a team player attitude, be outgoing, professional and hardworking.

A successful proven track record in Sales, particularly in a hotel environment, is required. Knowledge of the UCF/East Orlando Area is preferred. Prior experience with IHG systems and properties is a plus.

This is a full time position. Availability on Weekends and Holidays may be necessary at times. Only candidates with prior Hotel Sales experience will be considered.
