Director of Revenue

Director of Revenue: role is responsible for maximizing all potential revenue opportunities for a portfolio of 8 hotels.
- Lead and champion HMV’s rate & revenue strategy.
- Ensure that each hotel is maximizing the Guest and Associate experience.
- Motivate, coach and train General Manager team members, in setting revenue goals, establishing the right market segments to lead the comp set.
- Assist General Managers in managing and motivating associates and achieving overall financial results, and guest and associate satisfaction.
- Ensure proper, appropriate, and timely revenue reporting and record keeping both at the property and at the corporate property.
- Lead the process of development with the active participation of the General Managers and the Corporate Team leaders, the annual business Plan for each hotel.
- Gain, maintain, and utilize excellent knowledge of competition and general industry trends.
- Consistently monitor Revenue & Market Share results and compare outcomes with budgets, benchmark with other hotels’ performances and with industry averages.
- Maximize total revenues and market share through pricing, restrictions, mix of sales, and channel distribution.
- Test and measure all rate strategies to drive RPI growth weekly, monthly & annually.
- Assist in completing monthly revenue forecasts.
- Oversee all OTA promotions.
- Assist as needed in the yearly RFP process.
- Assist as needed in yearly budgets.
Requirements:
- Four-year college degree or equivalent experience; at least 4 years of experience in multi-property revenue management as a Director/Manager.
- Marriott, Hilton, Choice, & Wyndham experience/certification required, independent experience strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical and technical skills; working with Excel.
- Strong working knowledge of reservations, revenue, front office, sales & catering systems, and industry systems (STR, Travel Click, Sales Systems Knowland, etc).
- Ability to evaluate. Business trends and communication recommendations.
- Through knowledge of channel distribution methods.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Minimal travel required; position is based in the corporate office.
- Attention to detail and proven time management/organizational ability.
- Consistent professional attitude and behavior with effective listening and strong communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible and efficient.
- Ability to satisfy the legal requirements for employment within one’s jurisdiction.
