Leadership:
-Reports to President
-7 direct reports
-Responsible for leading all aspects of Quality in a three shift operation. Will also have oversight of engineering.
-Serve as management leader in development/improvement of Quality Systems and Processes compliant with Quality Systems certifications and auditing functions to ensure adherence to said systems
-Will interface with client's supplier and customer base and all outside agencies
-Plays key role in supplier development qualification and certification
-Manages organization's Corrective and Preventative Action Process
-Provide leadership in Process and System Audits for compliance to standard operating procedures and Quality System protocol
-Provides quality initiative training within the Quality Department and throughout the Company
-Will oversee all aspects of Engineering
Candidate Profile:
-Experience with ISO Quality Systems
-Experience in a metal machining environment
-Diversified knowledge of Quality engineering and the ability to improve the current quality system
-Experience with dimensional layout and qauging
-Ability to read and interpret blueprints
-Process Capability and Gage R&R studies experience
-Demonstrated experience with Lean and/of continuous improvement concepts
-Proven track record as a change agent
-Able to manage multiple projects
-Hands-on working manager
-Results oriented
-Strong communication skills
-Six Sigma Certification a plus
-Minimum of 3-5 years of experience leading Quality
-Bachelor's degree required-strong preference for a degree in Engineering
