As the Activity Director you will be responsible for facilitating activities throughout the day. The Activity Director will work off the schedule and ensure all activities are being completed, ensuring the clients are entertained while in attendance at the program. The Activity Director will ensure that there are at least ten activities to choose from each day. This will include dancing, art, outings, games, contests, BINGO, raffles, holiday celebrations, and so much MORE!!!
Job Duties:
Direct Supervision and directing of the ADH program as requested.
Supervision and evaluation of assigned staff.
Assist with personnel management, marketing plan and fiscal administration.
Oversight of the evacuation plan and program safety.
Coordination of transportation services as assigned.
Establish strong relationships with participants, caregivers and family member’s.
Work in conjunction and in harmony with a multidisciplinary team.
Complete RT progress notes quarterly and Monthly.
Welcome new participants and complete an RT assessment upon admission
Develop in conjunction with OT, PT, Activity Director activity programs that meet the needs of each member.
Plan and schedule all community outing, events, and activities.
Keep all required paper work and documentation in good standing.
Supervise clients for safety at the center.
Assist with other paperwork by request.
Assist clients with personal care and ADLs as needed.
Keep inventory of activity supplies, order supplies as needed.
Work with the team on care planning.
Attend all mandated meetings and training’s
Attend trainings, seminars, and informational as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $17.00 per hour
