SALARY RANGE: $90,000-$100,000/year (Depends on Experience and Skills)
LOCATION: Eagan, MN - Bismarck, ND - Denver, CO - Salt Lake City, UT (Remote position located in a terminal city)
REPORTS TO: VP of Quality Assurance
DIRECT REPORTS: Yes

JOB SUMMARY:

CrossCountry Freight Solutions is looking for a Director of Quality Assurance who will lead a team that is proactively looking to improve the quality systems of the company through internal audits, process improvement programs, and interaction with key partners to obtain constructive feedback. This position will be responsible for the collection of data, reporting, monitoring, and auditing to ensure compliance and help support other related metrics.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

• Develop and support the collection of data and analyze for reporting, coordinating, and developing reports to verify compliance.
• Identify and develop audits and processes within key departments including finance, safety, operations, information technology and human resources.
• Ensure quality metrics are captured, analyzed, and communicated to management for improvement strategies. Conduct continuous follow up plans across departments to streamline and strengthen processes.
• Keep department’s records in an organized, current, and professional manner. All pertinent information pertaining to the jobs should be kept on file in a professional, organized easy to access manner.
• Create short term and long-term strategies and educational programs to increase knowledge and competency within organization.
• Develop and implement strategies for encouraging problem-solving knowledge and behavior cross-functionally; this includes mentoring and training others while driving fact-based, root-cause thinking.
• Oversee tracking and determine trending KPI’s to provide corrective actions needed to be implemented for process improvements.
• Some travel required.
• Additional duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Well-developed interpersonal skills. Ability to get along with diverse personalities.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication (written and verbal), analytical, and decision-making skills.•
• Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry.
• Five years supervisory, budget management, and/or transportation industry experience required.
• May spend 25%-50% of the time outdoors, exposed to potentially difficult environmental conditions.
