The “Director Product Management – Platform & APIs” owns the strategy and roadmap for Cisive’s flagship product offering.

In collaboration with other business stakeholders, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities to optimize our internal-facing tools, business processes, integration strategy and the buildout of our API platform, develop a deep understanding of the product’s configuration options and how to optimize the management of these same options, and all other facets of the solution that impact our ability to operate, maintain, extend and improve our solutions.

You will be embedded with various software development teams to see projects through to completion.

• Define key process improvements that can be enabled through changes to our software applications.
• Work with key stakeholders throughout the business to identify new functionality to optimize internal solutions or improvements to existing functionality.
• Define the roadmap to implement these improvements.
• Establish a strategy and roadmap to build out our API platform.
• Prioritize needed integrations and define necessary conditions of success for supporting these same integrations across multiple third parties.
• Ensure requirements for technical implementation are clear, thorough, and detailed for software development teams.
• Ensure non-functional requirements are considered and included as part of Product scope.
• Identify opportunities to simplify system configuration and onboarding of new clients.
• Owns the tools and reporting for development metrics as well as identifying and executing on improvement areas in the development cycle.
• Manage the and Business Analyst teams to set policy, manage performance, enforce standards.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

• Minimum of 8 years combination of Product Management, business analyst, and/or product implementation experience, with at least 3 years in a management role.
• BS or BA in Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
• Business Analyst or Scrum Master Certification preferred.
• Experience with Jira as well as project lifecycle measurement tools such as Jellyfish
• Thorough knowledge of SDLC methodologies and best practices.
• Previous experience with process measurement techniques and the ability to identify, articulate, and execute change on improvement areas.
• Experience managing business stakeholders in terms of requirements gathering, scope management, requirements documentation.
• Experience providing requirements for modern cloud application development, APIs, and data applications.
