Coastal Harbor Health Systems is currently seeking: Plant Operations Director

The Plant Ops Director supervises staff who participate in maintaining a safe, functional, physical environment for clients, employees and guests and in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Compass Intervention Center System. The Plant Ops Director directs the activity of the Maintenance department through their daily activities, working to conduct the day to day operations and regular inspections of buildings and grounds for safety concerns, maintains preventative maintenance program in all areas, monitors all product costs and use of corporate approved vendors, develops and implements safety plans as required by JCAHO, and is familiar with OSHA, and EOC standards.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • The Plant Ops Director is responsible for supervising and providing maintenance services as needed and/or assigned; assisting in various maintenance activities and addressing immediate operational safety concerns.
  • The EOC Director will also perform tests, inspections and preventive maintenance of facility equipment with minimal supervision.
  • The EOC Director will take on call duties.
  • To ensure the maintenance of a safe, clean, healthy physical environment for clients, staff, and guests of the organizations.
  • Schedules work based upon established priorities, budgetary constraints and agreed upon plan of preventative maintenance.
  • This position requires working with other maintenance staff to ensure that maintenance tasks are performed in a safe and timely manner.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Proven experience in operations management or a similar role
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build effective partnerships
- Demonstrated strategic planning abilities to drive business growth
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
- Experience in process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma
- Proficient in project management principles and practices
- Strong business development acumen with the ability to identify new opportunities
