Greeter/Customer Service

Armstrong Family Dentistry's growing dental practice is in need of a Greeter. In order to keep up with our growth we will be adding a new member to our team.

The Greeter is responsible for welcoming patients into our Practice. This person must exhibit excellent computer and communications skills, be able to work in a fast-paced, team setting, and is responsible for seeing that procedures are followed.

Duties:

Greet patients and make them feel welcome in our office.

Utilize the patient check in system upon arrival.

Verify existing patients address, phone numbers, insurance and Health History Forms are current.

Provide New Patients with forms once obtained enter all information in our system and scan into their profile.

Answer telephone as a backup, screen calls appropriately, take messages and answer inquiries.

Check the answering service for messages following any interruptions in the daily schedule (i.e. staff meetings).

Check social media, respond to reviews. Maintain Social Media accounts and respond to patient messages.

Obtain the patient insurance card and drivers license to scan into the system.

Assist patients with insurance questions. If not able to answer questions, refer to Financial Coordinator.

Assist patients with appointments as backup.

Organize and maintain office inventory and supplies along with New Patient gifts .

Scan in lab RX's and EOB's

Provide x-rays on patients transferring to another office and deactivate their profile.

Request intake forms from patients 1 day prior to appointment. Once obtained add to system.

Maintain work area and restroom in a tidy fashion and straighten the reception area throughout the day.

Obtain Obituary's and send Sympathy card's.

Sanitize and disinfect front desk area, Reception area and Restroom.

Maintain COVID-19 screening records as well as obtaining temperatures of team members and all person's whom enter our office.

Lock Reception area door each afternoon and check temperature.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
