This is a newly launched business with a small team (the founder and two employees overseas). This candidate will need to wear many hats and manage all the day to day operations.
This is a full time in office position in Gardena with plans to move to West LA in a year or less.
Job Description:
Overview: We are seeking an entrepreneurial and hands-on day to day operator to lead and manage all aspects of our virtual headhunting agency. As the operator, you will be the driving force behind our startup's growth, overseeing day-to-day operations, setting strategic direction, and ensuring the successful execution of our mission to connect Filipino talent with USA-based employers.
Responsibilities:
- Provide visionary leadership and strategic guidance to propel the startup's growth.
- Oversee all daily operations, including program management, business development, process improvement, recruiting, client management, and employee relations.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to drive growth, improve efficiency, and enhance overall performance. Lead and mentor a small, agile team to achieve organizational goals.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and optimize agency performance.
- Manage finances, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure sustainability and growth.
- Build and nurture relationships with USA-based employers and clients.
- Implement and improve operational processes to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Lead the development and execution of the startup's business plan.
- Stay updated on industry trends and identify growth opportunities.
- Be a hands-on leader willing to roll up your sleeves to get the job done in a startup environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Proven experience in a leadership role, ideally in a startup or high-growth environment.
- Strong understanding of virtual staffing and remote workforce trends.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute on operational plans.
- Proven track record of team leadership and development.
- Familiarity with the Filipino labor market is a plus.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
