- Assist the Department Chair in assuring compliance with all Kentucky Board of Nursing requirements and CCNE accreditation standards.
- Collaborate with the Department Chair to promote growth of the Nursing Programs while maintaining rigor and consistency
- Collaborate with Department Chair on curricular evaluation, assessment reports, and maintenance of the budget
- Foster a vibrant faculty culture that promotes innovation and excellence
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with the administration of the institution, other divisions or departments within the institution, related facilities, and the community.
- Facilitate the development of long-range goals and objectives for the nursing program.
- Maintain current knowledge of requirements pertaining to the nursing program and licensure.
- Complete any additional duties as assigned by the Chair of the Department of Nursing or the Vice President for Academic Affairs.
- Hold at minimum a Master of Science Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university
- Hold a current and unencumbered APRN license with a focus in Family Practice in the Commonwealth of Kentucky
- A minimum of five years of nursing experience within the immediate past ten years
- A minimum of two years of full-time teaching experience
- Demonstrate a history of employee excellence.
