Director of Nursing
Vancrest offers a rewarding work environment with an opportunity to enhance and make a difference in the lives of our residents.
Director of Nursing Responsibilities include:
Holding primary responsibility for the clinical operations.
Directs, plans, and coordinates service activities of professional nursing and auxiliary personnel in rendering resident care.
Interprets facility policies and regulations to all nursing personnel.
Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations.
Evaluates nursing services rendered in order to improve quality of resident care and to better utilize staff and their abilities.
Ensures for the provision of in-service training programs for nursing personnel.
RequirementsValid RN license in good standing with the State of Ohio
Ability to work independently
Ability to problem solve and make decisions as necessary
Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills and a positive attitude
Knowledgeable of Nursing and medical practices and procedures as well as laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to long term care administration
