Chase Memorial Nursing Home & Rehab, a member of Good Shepherd Communities, anot-for-profit 80-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility located in New Berlin, NY is currently seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to join our leadership team. We are seeking a highly qualified DON with skilled nursing and leadership experience to continue the growth, good reputation, outstanding quality and sense of family and community that Chase Memorial Nursing Home and Rehabilitation has enjoyed.

Chase Memorial Nursing Home & Rehab recently was awarded an $8 million dollar grant from the State of New York for the construction of new a facility. We plan to break ground in 2025.

The DON has the responsibility and accountability for:

• Lead and oversee the nursing department
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with medical staff, nursing teams, and leadership to ensure a holistic care plan and high-quality patient care
• Staff development. Encourage a culture of learning and development
• Participate in budget development for the nursing department
• Assure resident safety & emergency preparedness
• Provide direct nursing care as necessary

Qualifications

Certifications and Licensures

• Active New York RN License

Education

• Preferred Bachelor's Degree

Experience

· 3+ years as a DON in a long-term care facility preferred

· Previous relevant leadership experience including substantial and well-rounded knowledge of Nursing theory and practice

Compensation

110-130K annual salary. $8,000.00 sign on bonus. Car allowance, Housing allowance and/or Relocation assistance may be provided
