Director of Marketing - Metro One Security Management, Inc.
Summary:
The Director of Marketing is a hands-on, vital part of our growth and market expansion. The successful candidate will manage our overall brand identification, digital media, graphic content, and is part of every discussion about customer communication, vertical segment growth, and brand adaptation and continuity. Revenue Growth is balanced against Budget Management. The security guarding space is primarily a “sales environment,” but is relying more on marketing and media to establish brand identification in support of our business development teams - - proposals, newsletter, case studies, social media posts, and other tools that reinforce Metro One’s Top Ten status. Compensation is negotiable based on a range of factors, knowing that Metro One is committed to attracting top management talent with financial incentives. Benefits are standard (medical, dental, vision, 401K, PTO) with company contribution.
Role Definition:
The Director of Marketing is part of and responsive to the Ownership and Metro One leadership team. This individual is a creative force inside the company, taking advantage of a range of brand communication tools and messaging, ultimately leading to new business opportunities and strengthening current key client contractual relationships. A large part of the marketing leadership job is to EXECUTE. The Metro One brand is 35 years old, is being modified to address new markets and customer categories and is an organic, ever-changing resource. The Director of Marketing will manage and influence all customer touch points to strengthen our business development results, as well as account retention, talent acquisition, employee retention - - all generating documented ROI.
Qualifications:
- The Director of Marketing will locate in our New Jersey Business Center and live within 100 miles of Morristown, New Jersey.
- Some travel will be required, estimated at 25%.·
- Must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process and continuously meet any applicable state, county and municipal requirements.
Required credentials and skills:
- Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
- Five (5) years’ experience with hands-on marketing to include digital and social media, website management, branding, trade show management, communication (writing and editing), and business development support and interface
- Marketing experience in a service industry is useful but not a requirement
- Ability to act tactically and think strategically
- Results-focused with the ability to establish strong internal and external relationships
- Analysis, research skills are part of the decision-making process
- Proactive in identifying growth opportunities
- Takes ownership and drives accountability
- Passionate about the experience we provide to our customers
- Participation in all things Metro One “branding,” creating and managing media planning (internal and external resources) across all business units and customer
