The Director of Marketing -

The Director of Marketing is a pivotal position responsible for on and offline marketing strategies, activities, and teams within the Dave Asprey portfolio of companies. This person will be responsible for creating and owning a celebrity brand, a media brand that includes a large (300 million downloads) podcast, an online presence that reaches millions of people per month and determining how it influences and interacts with a stable of in-house companies and external advertising partners and external influencers. This person will also be responsible for digital marketing, including social media, paid ads, SEO, affiliate, and influencer marketing and will also manage external marketing service providers.

This person must be confident, scrappy, flexible, persuasive, clever, a decisive decision maker, great at project management and excited to get their hands dirty. They are expected to model the Dave Asprey Group's core values of integrity, kindness, curiosity, and world-class standards in everything they do. This includes a proven commitment to upgrading themselves personally, so that they are best suited to upgrading the individuals and teams that they serve.

What you will be doing:

  • Develop the structure of the portfolio's marketing activities
  • Build, manage, and coach a high-performing marketing team
  • Identify and manage annual marketing goals, strategies and activities and calendar
  • Prepare reports and presentations on marketing metrics for the PLT and cross-functional leadership
  • Create and implement cross brand marketing calendars
  • Drive the design and implementation of successful marketing campaigns
  • Conduct market analyses to identify challenges and opportunities for growth
  • Provide guidance and ideas to organize effective digital and in-person marketing events
  • Work closely with Portfolio Marketing Managers to align sales and marketing strategies
  • Build and manage marketing budgets and expenditures
  • Maintain brand standards and ensure compliance across all channels
  • Identify competitors and evaluate their strategies and positioning and devise counterstrategies
  • Build long term relationships with employees, customers, affiliates, and stakeholders
  • Use creative PR strategies to build relationships with stakeholders and media
  • Execute shared services marketing deliverables across portfolios
  • Create and build potential vendor partnerships and manage monthly performance

What ittakes/Requirements:

  • 5+ years of previous experience as a Marketing Director
  • 5+ years work experience with online sales
  • Has been in ketosis or tracked sleep or put butter in coffee at least once
  • 2+ years work experience with in-person conferences/events
  • Project Management training and/or certification is a plus
  • Demonstrable experience designing and implementing successful digital and traditional marketing campaigns
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, web analytics, funnels, social media, online sales platforms, CRM software and digital marketing tools
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and transformational leadership skills
  • In-depth knowledge of traditional and digital market research
  • Strategic thinker with strong creative direction
  • Flexible team player with a positive attitude
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to prioritize projects and allocate resources efficiently
  • Sense of humor is a must

Compensation -

Based on this position and the requirements above we are offering a yearly salary range of $135,000.00 - $150,000.00 for this position.

Benefits -

We offer competitive compensation, 16 days of paid vacation, sick pay and holiday pay. In addition, as an employer we pay 100% of our employees premiums for Medical, Dental, Vision.
