Job Brief
As the Director of Marketing, you will develop brand and marketing strategies, delegate tasks to the marketing team, set and achieve targets, and establish relationships with the media and clients. You should be able to build relationships with a variety of professionals. To be successful as Director of Marketing, you should be a keen multitasker and who thrives in a competitive environment. Outstanding candidates have extensive marketing experience and are able to make decisions under pressure.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead Marketing Team to successfully implement marketing goals in alignment with company vision
- Conducting market research and implementing new strategies based on findings
- Continually innovate marketing strategy and processes to best serve the organization and its stakeholders
- Setting daily, weekly, monthly and yearly targets, and implementing various incentives to ensure they are achieved
- Partner with leadership team on internal communications and employer brand
- Optimize paid social media with laser focus on conversion
- Oversee all media marketing spend and performance
- Ensure optimal use of CRM and manage related operations
- Drive engagement and adoption of cutting-edge digital practices, technologies, and agencies in alignment with short, mid and long-term business objectives
- Run acquisition budget and growth model alongside COO and President for the business based on marketing spend and conversion metrics
- Effectively communicate with external stakeholders and internal team members to develop trust and respect, along with advocating for the mission of Eleven Fifty Academy
- Other duties as assigned
- 5+ years of relevant marketing management experience required
- Applicant must show a high level of professionalism, a proven record of innovation, a clear understanding of marketing data, and most importantly must show the ability to quickly pivot and achieve substantial results
- Must be available to attend regional events in the Indiana area
- Proven success in driving scale in emerging categories and brands
- Exceptional EQ and interpersonal skills. Highly collaborative team-player who will contribute to a positive environment and purpose-driven company culture
- Knowledge and practical experience with SEO, digital marketing tools, and related software
- Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other executives and team members
- Positive and open attitude is a must
- Highly observant, analytical and collaborative
