The Director of Marketing, Events and PR will lead the development and execution of a dynamic marketing strategy that further advances our brand. This role is responsible for continuing to activate the Salesforce Ventures brand to enhance visibility and credibility among prospective founders, entrepreneurs, and talent.
Collaborating with the existing team, you will craft and drive our marketing strategy, advise on event programming alignment with the overall strategy, scale the team, and ensure operational excellence across the marketing and broader Salesforce Ventures organizations. An adept storyteller, you will share the company’s narrative across various platforms. You will lead integrated marketing campaigns that leverage content, social media, advertising, and events to elevate brand awareness and showcase capabilities to the market!
Responsibilities
Innovate how we run our business and scale the value we provide to our portfolio companies.
Increase brand awareness with key industry constituents globally including founders, entrepreneurs, executives, and the broader VC community.
Design strategic marketing roadmaps with a beginner's mind for all marketing and event initiatives.
Develop and own digital marketing execution, including management of various tools including Salesforce Ventures’ website, social media channels, and marketing materials.
Build an events strategy that enhances brand awareness, fosters networking opportunities, and delivers value to our ecosystem.
Manage investment press release process internally and externally while advising portfolio companies on their PR strategy - particularly around financing events.
Provide expert guidance and support to investment team members in cultivating their personal brands, including managing their industry visibility and speaking opportunities.
Gather industry intelligence to understand market trends and strategic positioning for Salesforce Ventures.
Experience
10-15 years experience operating strategic marketing and communications program to advance an organization’s mission.
Strong brand development skills with a deep understanding of digital and traditional marketing channels and emerging trends.
Experience executing integrated marketing initiatives that build brand identity and deliver on the brand proposition
Experience presenting to senior executives.
Experience in fast-paced SaaS technology environments.
An inspiring leader, who enjoys scaling and elevating teams.
