Founded in 1991, The Regis School of the Sacred Heart is an independent, Catholic school for boys in grades 3 Pre-Kindergarten through Eighth grade. Regis holds membership with the Network of Sacred Heart Schools, and is accredited through the Independent Schools Association of the Southwest and the Texas Catholic Conference Education Department.

Job Description
As a Sacred Heart administrator, the Director of Marketing & Communications oversees all communications, marketing, and advertising efforts for the school. This position reports directly to the Head of School, serves on the school's administrative team, and serves as secondary lead on the school's Emergency Response Team. The Communications office supports all departments across campus in their communications needs, including but not limited to the Head of School Office, Admission & Enrollment Management, Advancement, Academics, Athletics, and more.
Responsibilities
- Support the School's mission by fostering strong communications among Family, School, and key stakeholders ?
- Develop communication plan for school community, including but not limited to:
- Emergency & Crisis Communication
- Internal Communication
- Marketing & Advertising
- Parent Engagement
- External Communication
- Maintain a communications program that directly supports the school's strategic plan, Shaping Our Future?
- Ensure quality and consistency of the School's brand and messaging; establish and maintain guidelines to apply across all departments, activities, and events at School and among both employees and volunteers
- Maximize awareness and support of the School's goals, objectives, and programs ?
- Maximize awareness and support of faculty and student growth and achievement?
- Manage all email communications for school, including editing, reviewing, and scheduling communications for all departments sent out through Veracross
- Plan and deploy digital activities (including website, online campaigns, email marketing, social media, and digital content production) and print communications (including admission materials, annual report, and materials to support development activities); serve as the School's editor-in-chief; bid out and oversee production of materials to outside vendors when appropriate.
- Provide strategic vision for school website and maintain integrity of brand and brand story throughout website text, imagery, and design
- Coordinate strategic use of outside vendors for photography and videography projects
- Maintain Regis' Brand & Style Guide to keep school's voice, vocabulary, and grammar consistent
- Design collateral/write material for collateral
- Connect with a wider audience by promoting the School to external, "future" constituencies, promoting Admissions and Philanthropy goals ?
- Document school life in an official capacity and in innovative ways (photography, videography, etc)?
- Manage IRIS alert system both internally and externally, regarding safety issues, ?emergency broadcasts and crisis management?
- Coordinate annual yearbook portraits, class portraits, and special Mass portraits (i.e. Mother-Son Mass and Father-Son Mass) with outside vendor
- Design Worship Aids and Programs for school events
- Maintain proactive media relations to enhance the School's image at local, state, and national levels
- Serve as Administrator for Vidigami, the School's online photo database
- Publish weekly community e-newsletter, Tuesday Newsday ?
- Maintain school calendar in Veracross
- Compile and collect data for communication purposes ?
- Write articles for various publications
- Work with students, faculty, and staff on special communication pieces
- Bachelor's Degree (minimum) in Communications, Design or Marketing
- At least 5 years experience in a related field, experience in an independent school is preferred
- Self-starter with superior organization skills
- Ability to work independently
- Knowledge of and proficiency with the Adobe Creative Cloud, including but not limited to Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, PremierePro, Lightroom, Photoshop, and Acrobat
- Prior experience using Finalsite a plus
- Knowledge of and proficiency with Facebook, Instagram, Vimeo, ISSUU, Meta Ads Manager, and Meta Business Manager
- Knowledge of and proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong writing skills
- Experience in graphic design
- Experience in photography
- Experience in videography
- Experience in web content management
- Experience working with media advertisers
