Director, Financial Markets Business Advisory

Director, Financial Markets Business Advisory, PwC US Tax LLP, Dallas, TX. Provide clients with accounting advisory services, tax, and capital funding strategies, regulatory compliance, and transaction support related to financial instruments, structural products, and real estate. Apply accounting, tax, and regulatory standards to complex financial instruments. Advise companies on complex financial structures prior to the issuance of securitizations. Create engagement plans, budgets and develop proposals. Seek new clients and engagements. Manage engagement teams, and provide coaching and feedback in a timely manner. Manage resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, and billing and collections. Supervise and coach professional teams.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Tax, or a related field, plus 7 years of related work experience of which at least 5 years must be post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience.

In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Tax, or a related field, plus 5 years of related work experience.

Certification(s) required: US CPA or foreign equivalent, Enrolled Agent, or CFA.

Must have at least one year of experience with each of the following:

- Applying accounting, tax, and regulatory standards to complex financial instruments;

- Preparing or reviewing tax calculations and tax reporting for securitization entities;

- Working with alternative investment funds, securitizations, treasury, and/or derivatives &hedging transactions;

- Utilize large, complex data sets to build models and leverage data visualization tools;

- Performing valuation analysis of financial instruments and structured products; and

- Applying knowledge of financial accounting, capital markets, taxation, financial reporting, and/or financial engineering to provide solutions to clients.

80% telecommuting permitted. Must be able to commute to the designated local office.

Domestic and/or international travel up to 20% is required.
