JOB OVERVIEW
The Director of Marketing develops and executes on an overall strategy to promote the Ethos product portfolio. This role oversees all aspects of the marketing function, including brand development, content creation, digital marketing, event planning, and market research. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment across all departments and will work closely with external agencies to deliver high-quality marketing campaigns that meet our objectives. This person leads the creation of the Ethos marketing department, including the hiring, coordination, and development of team members and external resources.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Lead development of Marketing strategy by working closely with clients, managers, creatives, content providers, and distribution partners to create effective plans focused on growing the our products and services.
- Manage conception, development, and implementation of Marketing plans and strategy, product concepts, and promotional programs to drive customer interest and sales.
- Spearhead the execution of Marketing campaigns, including targeting, testing, tracking, results reporting, analyses, and recommendations.
- Build, develop, and retain an internal marketing team supplemented by strong external partnerships.
- Represent the marketing team to cross-functional groups including Sales, Operations, Finance, and Information Technology.
- Update senior leadership on the progress of Marketing activities and report on the results of campaigns.
- Influence company branding and positioning through market insights.
- Define the buyer’s journey and associated ways to align to it.
- Create and deploy successful direct-to-consumer and B2B marketing strategies.
- Oversee the creation and distribution of press releases to press, partners, and other related parties.
- Identify, evaluate, and execute on tradeshow opportunities and create supporting demand-generation campaigns.
- Create and cultivate relationships with outside marketing agencies for additional support and expertise.
- Organize, oversee, and cultivate Key Opinion Leader network, including Ethos Medical Advisory Board.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with the Ethos Sales and Operations teams with the common goals of sharing the mission, building the brand, and growing the business.
- Ensure marketing materials, communications, and promotions are in accordance with the Office of Inspector General compliance program of the Company.
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies, and methodologies in non-digital and digital marketing
- Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, digital marketing, and advertising campaigns
- Proven ability to plan and manage budgets
- Demonstrated track record of successful customer relationship-building experience
- Understanding of the key market drivers and dynamics of the U.S. healthcare market
- Promote brand awareness, campaigns, and leads through networking
- Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all team members and support departments
- Healthcare experience with hospitals, physicians, and laboratory science
- Communications, PR, and media experience
- Tradeshow marketing experience
- Strong demonstration of Ethos IMPACT Core Values
- Ability to travel 20% of the time including occasional overnight stays
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, finance, business administration, or similar
- A master's degree in a relevant field preferred
- At least five years of experience in Marketing and/or Product Management
- At least two years of experience as a Marketing Manager
- At least two years of experience formally leading a Marketing team
- At last two years of experience in product management or development preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Position requires sitting, walking, reaching, bending, stooping, and handling objects with hands and/or fingers, talking and/or hearing, and seeing
