Essential Duties
At KCI, our people are our greatest asset and we put a strong focus on providing the attention and development necessary to drive employee success. As the Director of Learning & Development, you will take the lead on creating, implementing, and continuously improving Learning & Development programs to bring impact throughout the full employee life cycle.
Responsibilities and essential job functions for this role include but are not limited to the following:
- Drive the creation, execution, maintenance, and outcomes of Learning and development programs
- Strategically craft training program design into an innovative, technologically forward thinking and operational efficient solution that balances quality of employee experience and operational cost of delivering
- Develop ongoing learning needs analysis to identify skill gaps and development opportunities to support company growth and strategy
- Strategically monitor, evaluate, and provide results of the effectiveness and value (ROI) of Learning and development programs and processes
- Lead and develop a high performing field training manager team
- Facilitate the meaningful involvement and engagement of senior leaders in the enhancement of company performance and employee development
- Facilitate cooperation of diverse groups and departments to build organizational effectiveness
- Drive training program completion across all company employees
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
- Minimum 5 years experience in a relevant supervisor- level Learning and Development, Training, or Organizational Development role
- Minimum 5 years experience in wireless retail industry; specifically with T-Mobile preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and project management skills related to prioritizing and executing timely deliverables within timeline, scope, and budget
- Ability to understand business needs to drive buy-in among company leaders to enable transformation and advance strategic priorities while building rapport and fostering a collaborative working environment
- Extensive experience in leading large scale, company-wide development and deployment of LMS programs
- Passionate about people development and have genuine interest in transforming employee learning
- Travel required
