Responsibilities:
Provides leadership and technical assistance to facilitate planning and directing the design, installation, modification, and operation of an information systems initiative. Specific oversight of Clinical, Operations, Sales & Marketing product sets

  • Provides Leadership to the Applications Teams for Clinical, Operations, Sales & Marketing.
  • Serves as senior level contact for problem solving and solution design for those areas.
  • Provides leadership and support to Managers, Leads and Team Members within IT and across the company relative to Applications.
  • Solicits as appropriate and evaluates vendor proposals for purchases of hardware, software, and technical servicesto ensure adherence to technical specifications.
  • Advises and consults with other departments on production software issues, concerns, problems, and questions.
  • Analyzes proposed projects in terms of potential benefits of usinginformation systems.
  • Prepares long- and short-range plans for application selection, software systemsdevelopment, systems maintenance, production activities, and necessary support resources.
  • Plans and recommends changes to the capacity of the operating system and its configuration.
  • Prepares cost estimates for current and proposed projects, reflecting the equipment and staff requirements.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master’s Degree preferred. A minimum of seven years of related experience required; Experience in Healthcare IT strongly preferred.
