A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DIRECTOR OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

As our Director of Information Technology, you are responsible for overseeing the organizations technology infrastructure. You assess and make recommendations for software and equipment and supporting both current and new technologies to maximize efficiencies and ensure effective daily operations with technology across the organization. In addition, you ensure data security and privacy by serving as the organizations HIPAA Security Officer.

Using your excellent leadership skills, you enjoy managing and supporting all employees within the department. In addition, you develop and manage the Information Technology budget, develop, and implement IT policies and procedures and finally you collaborate with all departments within the organization which leads to impeccable customer service as you and your team meet all Information Technology needs. Finally, you serve as an essential member of the Senior Management Team and provide input to meet the Information Technology needs across the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A DIRECTOR OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field OR equivalent experience in an IT position
• 10 years of experience in Information Technology.
• 5+ years of management experience.

WORK SCHEDULE

This full-time position comes with a Monday - Thursday, workweek (Occasional Friday and weekend as needed).
