About the Role: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Director of Human Resources to lead Human Resources, development/fundraising activities, and marketing. Rakhma has a dedicated team of caregivers and healthcare professionals providing exceptional care to our dementia residents. As the Director of Human Resources, Development, and Marketing, you will work with the Executive Director to ensure the success of Rakhma's financial health, organizational branding, stakeholder relations, and personnel, while upholding our commitment to equitable person-centered memory care. Responsibilities :
As the Director of Human Resources, Marketing, and Development, you will be responsible for:
1. Compliance :
• Monitor and implement changes to Human Resources, marketing, and fundraising policies
• Ensure Rakhma is meeting regulatory requirements in this space
• Manage HR system and records
2. Foster and Encourage a Positive Culture :
• Oversee Rakhma hiring and terminations: recruiting, interviewing, background checks, onboarding, orientation, employee write-ups, unemployment claims
• Employee support (EAPs, conflict mediation, etc.)
• Oversee Rakhma volunteer program - including recruiting and onboarding
3. Compensation and Benefits :
• Oversee bi-weekly payroll including timecard audits, salary changes, employee status updates, reporting
• Lead annual compensation review, benefits renewal and workers compensation plan including OSHA reporting
4. Marketing and Fundraising :
• Design and implement Rakhma fundraising practices, development plan (including stewardship plan), donor relations, grant submissions, year-end appeal, donor database, email marketing, and social media marketing.
• Design and implement creative strategies to cultivate prospects, engage new donors and maintain returning donors
• Partner with Executive Director to design and deliver marketing and fundraising events from start to finish
(Review and refine current plan)
• Partner with Executive Director to provide resident/family tours
5. Budget Management :
• Participate in budget development and management, ensuring efficient allocation of resources while maintaining high-quality care
6.Miscellaneous Duties as Needed
Requirements
Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources preferred
  • Experience with Marketing, Development, and Fundraising
  • Understanding of person-centered dementia care and the unique needs of dementia residents
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work some evenings and for special events
  • Proficient in regulatory compliance and quality assurance processes
  • Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with dementia

Salary (dependent on qualifications): $80,000 - $100,000 (including performance bonuses)
