Director Of Human Resources

An ideal candidate will have-experience as an HR Manager or a newer HR Director looking to develop and expand upon their HR skills to begin elevating them to the next step in growth. The HR Department, of one, will serve as a business partner in the firm who can effectively perform both administrative and strategic HR. As the company grows, the HR department will increase accordingly.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Be a current HR Manager or a newer HR Director looking to develop and expand upon their HR skills to begin elevating them to the next step in growth.
• Experience in Real Estate industry. Experience with Real Estate Developer preferred.

Schedule & On-Site:

• Monday - Friday
• On-site position; some flexibility. Must be able to commute daily to the City of Fairfax, VA office.

An ideal candidate should possess the below skills/experience:

• At least 10 years of HR Management and/or a newer Director looking to take that next growth step with their experience (all functions) including recruitment and selection.
• Experience as HR department of one with past success of building, implementing, and maintaining HR infrastructure and employee satisfaction and people focused culture.
• Extensive Recruiting, selection and onboarding experience is required.
• HR management / recruiting experience in Architecture, Engineering, Design, Construction industry a plus.
• PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certifications required.
• Knowledge and experience in the following: Compensation and Benefits, Safety and Compliance, Training and Development and Talent Management
• Agility, high EQ, self-starter, excellent communicator, exemplifies positivity (finding solutions)
• Extreme confidentiality, attention to detail and outstanding internal and external customer service
• Experience in building and managing an HR team for growing company.
• Other HR related duties as needed.
