We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Housekeeping to join our team. As the Director of Housekeeping, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the housekeeping department. This is a key leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional hospitality services. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement housekeeping policies and procedures to ensure cleanliness, safety, and efficiency - Manage and supervise a team of Housekeeping staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations - Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met - Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of guest requests and special cleaning projects - Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed - Collaborate with the maintenance department to address any maintenance or repair issues - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in housekeeping management Requirements: - Previous experience in hotel housekeeping management or a related field - Strong knowledge of floor care techniques, custodial practices, and industrial cleaning methods - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Ability to effectively communicate with staff at all levels - Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards - Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of Housekeeping management software If you are a dedicated professional with a passion for cleanliness and hospitality, we invite you to apply for the position of Director of Housekeeping.
