About Dura's Finance team
Dura's Finance team is an integral part of the decision making process at the company, providing key insights and recommendations to leaders, up to and including CEO and Board of Directors. Dura Finance is embedded in all aspects of the organization, from due diligence of new acquisitions and integration through ongoing management and execution of portfolio companies. Finance team members also engage regularly with key institutional investors to ensure long term value creation targets are on track.
Given Dura's rapid pace of growth and Finance team's involvement at all levels of the organization, all team members, regardless of role or title, are expected to "get their uniform dirty" and be a proactive, trusted advisor to all team members.
Role Summary
This role is a strategic role and crucial for Dura's growth. As the Director of Finance overseeing HQ/Central Finance at Dura Software, you will be the right hand to the VP of Finance, leading all long-term planning initiatives for the company. This role involves evaluating financial performance, scrutinizing risks, and identifying lucrative investment opportunities. As a crucial member of the Finance team, your insights and recommendations will directly influence key decisions, from new acquisitions to ongoing portfolio management, providing a unique opportunity to shape the financial success of Dura Software.
Your Contributions
- Owning the financial planning process for Dura, including quarterly, annual, and multi-year performance targets
- High focus on cash sources and uses for the company - responsible for both near term and long term cash forecasts
- Being the direct Finance Partner for CEO and CFO, using KPI's to provide insight into future risk and opportunities in the business that drive initiatives for financial improvement
- Owning the financial and business reporting process, which includes engaging with institutional investors, Board of Directors, banks, as needed
- Responsible for the software tools used to enhance collaboration and communication with leaders and investors regarding financial performance
Requirements
Your Experience
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Director of Finance or similar role.
- Proven ability to perform and be adaptable in a fast-changing/startup environment.
- Experience in establishing planning processes from the ground up incorporating detailed KPI's and financial outputs (Sales Bookings through Free Cash Flow) and driving accountability w/leaders on a regular cadence
- Proven ability to drive accountability with leaders on a regular cadence.
- Demonstrated high sense of ownership, with the ability to drive change in the business and lead cross-functional programs when required.
- Strong communication skills, adept at synthesizing financial targets into simple and clear operational objectives for business leaders to execute against.
- Ability to create and manage complex financial models in Excel, leveraging other business intelligence tools as needed.
- BSc/BA in Finance, Accounting, or relevant field; MBA, CFA, or other relevant qualification is a plus.

Salary Description
$160,000-$200,000 a year with a 20% Bonus
