Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage an entire network of 5 healthcare facilities and 1 administrative site. Responsibilities include:
- Execute overall maintenance and repair of buildings
- Conduct and oversee preventative maintenance
- Ensure effective systems for logging and tracking of needed inspections, maintenance schedules, and repairs
- Administer maintenance of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, elevator, plumbing, fire, traffic control, and life safety systems
- Produce and manage purchase orders for facilities equipment, furniture, and supplies
- Manage relationships with external contractors and vendors, and ensure professionalism of contracted work
- Develop system for evaluation and monitoring of housekeeping and sanitation performance
- Ability to develop and execute facility assessments for existing sites along with short and long-term recommendations for infrastructure improvements
- Foster and promote a culture of safety across the organization
- Ensure that all facilities provide a clean, hazard-free and effective patient care environment and a patient-friendly atmosphere
- Responsible for equipment safety assessments, code compliance, training programs and mitigation plans. Prepare manuals, administrative guides and staff communication to ensure safe and efficient Facilities Management services
- Responsible for fire and safety program coordination
- Work closely with Clinical Administration department on clinical equipment maintenance when needed
- Oversee the department of Facilities staff, including workforce planning, supervision, and professional development
- Directly supervise facilities managers. Develop systems for prioritizing work orders and timely responses to requests and maintenance
- Monitor staffing, coverage models, and recruiting/retention of staff
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Facilities Management or Healthcare Administration preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Facilities Management, or Engineering
- 10+ years of medical facility experience and familiarity with infection control guidelines preferred
- 10+ years of staff supervisory and management experience
- Excellent communication, team building and leadership skills are essential
- Professional certification, affiliation, and/or membership in fields of Facilities Management, Building Owners and Managers Association, desired
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: $120,000.00 - 140,000.00 per year
