Job Description:
C+A is a fast-growing company that offers you the potential to continue to grow in your career! We are looking for a Director of Facilities to assist in overseeing 5+ states and 16k+ units. This role will be responsible for a team of Regional Facilities Managers and for overseeing the Service team and supporting day-to-day operations tasks. These tasks include, but are not limited to people leadership, recruiting, inventory, schedule, payroll budgets, facility maintenance, vendor relationships, contracts, quality control, on-boarding new communities, and most importantly the member and team member experience. We're looking for someone with prior management experience overseeing multiple locations, genuine customer service skills and a passion for great workplace culture. Reporting to our VP of Operations, the Director of Facilities will be responsible for supporting the overall success of maintenance operations of the entire portfolio.
Job Requirements:
·Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Regional Maintenance Director in the multifamily industry and/or construction industry required.
·Minimum of 3 years of management/leadership experience overseeing multiple managers/teams.
·Minimum of 2 years Customer Service experience.
·Minimum of 2 years overseeing multiple locations.
·Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing, for interacting with employees, management, clients and vendors, i.e., calm, professional, and empathetic to all levels of management, employees, customers, and vendors.
·Excellent relationship building and influencing skills with people at all levels and in all functions.
·Previous experience delivering excellent customer service and training.
·Excellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel
·Strong detail orientation; systematic and thorough approach to problem solving; and good time management, organizational, and record-keeping skills.
·Advanced knowledge in the following areas: Plumbing, Electrical, Pool Maintenance, HVAC, Carpentry, Landscape Maintenance, Appliances, and OSHA-related standards.
·One or more industry specific professional certifications (EPA, HVAC, CPO, OSHA or similar).
·Experience creating companywide SOPs and training preferred.
·Bilingual Preferred
·Willing to travel
