The Director of Facilities and Operations ensures the efficient day-to-day operations of Peace House Community Campus and supports the work of Management, Board of Directors, and other staff. The primary areas of oversight and management include:

· Facility Operations
· Employee Housing Program
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Facility Management
· Collaborating with other departments in creating/updating/reviewing operations policies including the emergency management plan and the IT policies and procedures manual.
· Serving as a contact person for employees regarding facility operations
· Overseeing, creating, and reviewing all facility-related contracts with vendors and contractors
· Standing Member and Staff Chairperson of Facilities Committee supporting facility improvements, repairs, and maintenance in conjunction with Facilities Maintenance Manager
· Managing security access for new and existing employees with security software; in conjunction with the Residential Director, creating additional key cards for clients and contractors as needed
· Managing financials related to Facilities grants and budget for facilities related items.
· Project management of construction, facilities, and infrastructure projects, as needed.
· Collaboration with Development Resource Team in identifying, applying for, and administering facilities related grants.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations and Administration
· Maintaining current facility and organizational insurance policies including Property and General Liability.
· Employee Housing: managing criteria and policies with E.D.; coordinating with employee tenants regarding occupancy, rental criteria and payments, repairs, moves, inspections, policies, complaints, and requests from employees.
· Managing the document retention policies and archive room
Staff Supervision
- Management and oversight of Facilities Maintenance Manager position, providing direction, support, and guidance for all facility-related issues and staff including the development of individual performance goals and monitoring/evaluating job performance on a regular basis.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
· 3-5 years of related experience managing the needs of a commercial facility
· Excellent customer service, communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to exercise good judgement with a proactive approach.
· Experience and ability to work well under pressure as a team player.
· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tight deadlines.
· Meticulous attention to detail.
· Computer literacy and adaptability, specifically with Microsoft-based operating system, Microsoft Word, Outlook, etc.
· Current driver’s license and vehicle for use on the job.
· Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
· Positive, compassionate, and friendly nature.
· Must be able to pass a background check
· Current First Aid and CPR certification or ability to get training within the first month of employment.
