George Fox University's Early College Program is seeking a Director of Educational Partnerships & Outreach to assist the Chief Strategy Officer and the Director of K-12 Initiatives with engagement and support for Early College Programming in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. The Director of Educational Partnerships & Outreach will maintain a robust engagement schedule with K-12 schools who collaborate or seek to collaborate with George Fox University to understand their specific Early College needs and how George Fox University can support them.


About the Job:

The Director of Educational Partnerships & Outreach will support the Early College office in its mission to provide a bridge for K-12 students, teachers, parents, and administrators to the high-quality educational experience at George Fox through persistent and strategic engagement with heads of school, principals, superintendents, parents, and teachers. This position will be responsible for expanding the reach of the Early College office into new territories in Oregon and the Northwest.


Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Growing the number of formal partnerships existing between George Fox University and K-12 schools and districts in the Pacific Northwest. (40%)
  • Supporting the Director of K-12 Initiatives in supporting administrators and teachers in accessing professional development opportunities. (15%)
  • Collaborating with the College of Education faculty and staff on the development of new product offerings based on feedback from partners. (15%)
  • Writing Memorandums of Understanding and partnership agreements and affiliated materials. (15%)
  • Assisting with the development of new opportunities for teachers and students through engagement with the Early College office and Events staff. (10%)
  • Communicating effectively and courteously with others, including employees, students, and the public, in a spirit of teamwork, respect and customer service. (5%)

  • By actions, words, and lifestyle, be a Christian role model to students, whether through casual contact or in a formal supervisory role.

A day in the life of this position:

The Director of Educational Partnerships & Outreach will coordinate with the Chief Strategy Officer and K-12 Initiatives director on being the front line for developing relationships with new K-12 school partners. They will practice a cold engagement strategy to create new pathways to working with schools not traditionally associated with George Fox University and the Friends church.


We're looking for candidates who have:

  • Experience with higher education enrollment services
  • Experience with higher education early college / dual enrollment / direct enrollment programming
  • Experience understanding the needs of leaders in K-12 private and public education.
  • Experience with business development / consultative sales
  • Ability to work both on a team and independently.
  • A personal commitment to Jesus Christ and express their Christian testimony in a church. In addition, employees agree to live in agreement with the Community Lifestyle Statement and affirm the theological commitments expressed in the Statement of Faith.

Job information:

  • Hours Per Week: 40 hours
  • Primary Work Location: Remote/Hybrid, within the State of Oregon
  • Working Conditions: Physical requirements are those of a normal office environment
