Director Of Custodial Services

The Director is responsible for the profitability of a group of accounts within HES Facility Services. The purpose of this position is to achieve the objectives of senior management and ownership with respect to each of these accounts.

• Operates in a proactive fashion, takes initiative and ownership
• Brings Mission and Values to life on a daily basis.
• Recruits, trains and mentors account leadership

• Builds and supports effective teams
• Effectively delivers contracted service deliverable
• Forges solid relationships with key account stakeholders
• Supports effective and profitable growth

The Director reports to a Vice President- Operations and directly supervises Account Leadership. Additionally, the Director works with business development, finance, human resources, safety, and other functional staff to help achieve his/her objectives.

1. Operations:

1. Manages and oversees the day-to-day facilities services provided at all current and new accounts within his/her area of responsibility.

1. Champion company’s mission and values in words and deeds.

1. Achieves a 95% retention rate among existing accounts.

1. Review quarterly reports in person with clients. (twice a year)

1. Establishes job specific performance standards and advises associates of targeted annual goals. Leads and manages through Scorecard results.

1. Maintain CIMS compliant programs and accreditation at all accounts.

1. Ensures detailed routing is up to date and deployed in all languages needed.

An HES custodian plays an essential role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of school facilities, ensuring every school day runs smoothly and students can focus on learning. In addition to regular building maintenance functions, the school custodian provides direct support to classroom teachers in set up and maintenance of furniture and equipment.

Skills: Basic custodial knowledge, computer literacy, mechanical knowledge, good oral and written communication skills, and good mathematical competency

Custodial Supervision: 3 years

Travel

Occasional overnight travel.
