Director of Corporate Partnerships - Graduate Admissions

This role spans from strategic origination to tactical execution in securing partnerships to grow enrollments for full degree programs and certificates. This role will provide service to partners through ongoing relationship cultivation and management. The successful candidate will work with key decision makers within various organizations to ensure both the successful initial launch of programs and the securing of new forms of partnership. In addition, this role continuously demonstrates value to partners through thoughtful strategy, planning, management, and oversight of operational matters.

You are:

  • Someone with excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • An experience Business to Business sales professional
  • A skilled negotiator and closer

You will:

  • Lead the /B2B sales processes including identifying, defining and developing continuous revenue streams through multi-year contracts/subscriptions with new and existing industry partners.
  • Manage leads, calls, and sales process to successfully close new clients.
  • Build and maintains long-lasting, strong relationships with customers, partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.
  • Identify new partners for the B2B space to expand University of New Haven’s reach as an end-to-end solution for new and existing industry partners.
  • Develop data-driven needs analysis to determine which offerings are best suited to our partners’ organizations.
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team on the creation of sellable products and services in the form of education modules, customized training, educational technology programs, etc. as a solution for industry partners.
  • Assist in the creation and communication of sales goals, strategic plans to achieve sales targets, and develops reporting on progress towards pre-established goals.
  • Other duties as required or assigned.

You have:

  • 10+ years’ experience in Outside Sales / Education Technology Sales strongly desired
  • Must be able to operate independently, contribute to the team reaching larger goals, and manage others as the team grows.
  • Experience with a long sales cycle involving developing deep relationships/partnerships with clients for repeat future business is critical for success.
  • Business Development / Sales Experience is strongly desired and such experience in education-related companies is a plus.
  • Effectively communicates value propositions through presentations and proposals.
  • Knowledge of online education modules, video tutorials, interactive learning, as part of training and education programs is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to reach short-term and long-term ambitious revenue goals.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, etc.)
