Community . Be a part of an amazing team (staff and supporters!) who are passionate about our mission.

Work you'll love . A creative and collaborative environment where we value your unique skills and insights.

Our impact is growing . VOW for Girls believes that celebrations of love can change the world, and you can be part of the growing team making that happen.

Totally remote - work from anywhere in the United States.

WHO WE ARE

VOW for Girls believes that celebrations of love - weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, and more - can be a catalyst for supporting girls whose futures, educations, and choices are at risk. This year alone, more than 12 million girls are at risk of child marriage, threatening their ability to own their futures. We invite individuals, couples, event professionals, brand leaders, and others to invest in the power, voice, and choice of girls everywhere. In doing so, we're bringing much-needed funding and resources to effective yet underfunded community programs around the world that are in need of investment to engage young girls, helping them to stay in school, avoid child marriage, and have opportunities to thrive. VOW for Girls was founded in late 2018 by global human rights activist Mabel van Oranje and Ford Foundation President Darren Walker.

JOB DESCRIPTION

VOW is seeking a Director of Corporate Fundraising (reporting to the Sr. Vice President) to cultivate, secure, negotiate, execute, support, and steward innovative brand partnerships that will enable girls around the world to own their futures. By developing a clear strategy, optimizing brand communication vehicles, and implementing processes, develop a diverse portfolio of brands supporting VOW that generate significant multi-year funding and awareness for our mission.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

--Lead VOW's corporate partnership portfolio.  The director will utilize best-in-class fundraising and collaboration practices to build a high-value and high-volume partnerships pipeline with prioritized and streamlined outreach to value-aligned brands, including both cold and warm prospects while also maintaining strong relationships with our current partners.

--Be responsible for strategic planning, pipeline development, and setting ambitious fundraising goals through prospect research and analysis of prospects and opportunities.

--Lead the partnership sales cycle.  This will include concept-to-contract execution as well as consistent communication and stewardship throughout the life of the partnership.

--Research prospects that align with VOW's mission and values; serve as a leader internally and externally to understand organizational needs in order to develop proposals and pitches that help potential partners deliver on their strategic business objectives.

--Brainstorm creative activation ideas for brands and create dynamic pitches for prospects with the internal team; you'll be able to creatively build and articulate a compelling presentation that highlights VOW's unique value proposition along with educating potential partners about the issue of child marriage while inspiring an urgency to act and fund.

--Consistently document, track, and manage all prospect and partner relationships through an internal customer relationship management (CRM) system and generate new business status reports, trend analyses, and revenue projections on a regular basis for sharing with VOW leadership.

--Partner with internal teams to develop processes that aid in the development and growth of our partners and a smooth and joyful partner experience.

--Work with internal teams and external partners to develop pitch materials, partner content, and case studies to aid in securing and growing partnerships.

--Strategize with PR agencies to develop tactics and events that amplify current partners and draw new partners to our work.
