Who We Are

Bandon Fitness Texas, Inc. is the largest owner of Anytime Fitness locations in the United States with 250+ current locations and plans for continued growth. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for health and fitness to join our team as a Regional Fitness Director.

With direct oversight of Personal Training Area Managers (PTAM), the Regional Fitness Director will align teams through specified performance measures that achieve our service, experience, and financial goals. Further, the Regional Fitness Director will ultimately be responsible for managing the delivery of the Company vision.

What We Expect

• Ensures each club in the regional portfolio achieves company financial goals. Regularly analyzes financial performance to ensure each club is on track to meet performance metrics.
• Conducts monthly business reviews with each Personal Training Area Manager (PTAM) across company key performance indicators and adjusts plans with clubs as needed, to achieve results.
• Regular communication and supervision of Personal Training Area Managers (PTAMs) to advise on strategy, actions, and goals. Holds PTAMs accountable for reaching goals in assigned clubs.
• Plans, organizes, and coordinates execution of daily/weekly/monthly regional functions to maximize profit and loss goals with a member-centric focus.
• Guides teams through change management strategies to optimize performance outcomes.
• Develops succession plans for staffing needs and demonstrates a strong ability to recruit and develop others. Assesses talent at all levels and builds a bench of talent.
• Effectively addresses performance issues and holds teams accountable in a constructive and timely manner.
• Leverages data from observations and reported performance feedback to identify root cause and implement processes to improve execution in a measured way.
• Develops, monitors, and grows revenue-generating, and retention-based programs in the Fitness department.
• Engages with personal training area managers (PTAMs) and personal training managers (PTMs) to identify operational improvements in concepts such as fitness program optimization, membership sales process, and delivering a clean, friendly, well-maintained gym facility.
• Builds a best-in-class personal training culture by leveraging training tools, employee engagement, recognition, and coaching.
• Collaborates with internal and external partners to continuously grow our member community.
• Ensures all policies are implemented and followed.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Athletic Management, Sports Management, or related field is preferred. Equivalent experience is acceptable in lieu of degree.
• 5+ years’ multi-unit/multi-store leadership responsibility
• 5+ years’ experience directing a high revenue-generating personal training business or fitness department.
• Strong knowledge of fitness industry trends, programming, and equipment.
• Ability to tie strategy and analytics to the sales and fitness operations strategy.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal), and the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
• Possesses exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, and is comfortable interacting with all levels, including Executive Leadership.

Travel and Availability

• Must be able to travel by car and airplane up to 50-75% of the time to conduct site visits with field leaders, and club teams.
• Hybrid/Remote with the ability to office from home when not at club locations.
• Full-time, with flexible availability across weekdays, weekends, and holidays to best serve our member community.

Compensation Summary

• Base salary range: $65k-75k or commensurate on experience
• Performance-based incentive compensation
