Job description

Envision Education seeks a Director of Communications & Developmentto work with our Senior Director of Advancement & Engagement to champion the organization. The Director of Communications & Development will craft and tell the compelling story of Envision across many platforms and to a variety of audiences. The Director of Communications & Development will also support the work of developing and maintaining strategic philanthropic relationships with individual donors, local businesses, and foundations to support the mission of Envision Education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the organization's grant writing and grant management process.
  • Drive the organization's multi-channel communications strategy through data-driven decision making.
  • Prepare and manage all communications material.
  • Support development of digital, video, and audio print content.
  • Work closely with the Envision schools and with ELP to ensure that important news and events are shared with stakeholders.
  • Enhance Envision's social media presence and brand.

Qualifications
  • At least five years of experience in communications and marketing.
  • Demonstrated excellence in organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • At least three years of grant writing and management experience for public, private, and government funding opportunities.
  • Experience with website, annual report, email newsletter production, and message development.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro)
  • Expertise managing digital content experience with search engine marketing, Google Analytics, and Google AdWords.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and social media marketing.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Annual starting salary range of $100,000 - $115,000 dependent upon years of aligned experience and credentials.
