SalaryConnecting Communities is currently seeking a Director of Clinical Services to perform supervisory and administrative duties for the clinical department. Director of Clinical Services will initial and conduct ongoing evaluations of individuals to inform treatment planning and continuity of appropriate services, oversee treatment implementation and planning and provide direct Clinical Services. Director of Clinical Services will complete any other tasks the Executive Director deems necessary.
Director of Clinical Services must have knowledge of diagnosis, assessments, prognosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and case management for persons with serious mental illness, alcohol and drug issues, co-occurring disorders, and/or youth with serious emotional disturbance; ability to independently apply effective therapeutic techniques and modalities; thorough understanding of psycho-social and cultural factors affecting mental health and service delivery; thorough understanding and application of administrative procedures related to the delivery of mental health services
Ideal candidate must have credentials as a Licensed Professional Counselor awarded by the Virginia Board of Counseling. Applicant also must have a minimum of three years of experience providing direct services to children and/or adolescents with a mental health diagnosis.
