Job Description:
Specialized Dental Partners (SDP), formerly U.S. Endodontics Partners, is looking to hire a Director of Business Development. SDP is a dedicated high growth company that provides world-class support to leading providers of endodontic, periodontic & oral surgery services. SDP is seeking partnerships with specialty dental practices throughout the U.S. This position will be a critical member of the highly visible BD team, reporting to both the Senior Director of Business Development and to the Vice President of Business Development, and be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and executing strategic acquisitions. Key activities of the position will include assisting in the evaluation of acquisition targets, preparing due diligence materials, and preparation of financial projections and key investment metrics.

- Identify, cultivate, perform diligence, value, structure and negotiate deals
- Monitor competitive landscape to identify and prioritize opportunities, including tracking public companies and interacting with investment bankers and other sources of deal opportunities
- Act as “deal quarterback” simultaneously advising and driving deal teams to complete required work to reach investment recommendations
- Manage full-cycle process from initial lead to closing, working with cross-functional due diligence teams with a hands-on, team-oriented approach
- Present diligence findings and deal recommendations
- Ensure effective management of post-closing deal terms and hand-off to integration teams
Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong oral and written communication
- Comfort dealing with ambiguity and ability to work independently
