JOB TITLE: Director of Business Development, Education GTM
LOCATION: New York, NY (HYBRID)
THE ROLE:
We believe Splice's education strategy will drive long-term subscriber growth and enterprise revenue. To execute effectively against this opportunity, we want to bring on an experienced leader with strong GTM instincts within the education space.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Take on a leadership role in developing a cohesive strategy on Splice's approach to Education that can deliver enterprise revenue and long-term new subscriber growth
- Drive forward strategy setting, goal setting, and shared road mapping
- Lead a XFN team to execute a GTM approach that expands Splice's presence in the classroom and lays the foundation for an education enterprise revenue business line.
- Interface with key education institution stakeholders
- Engage in travel to education institutions, industry events, and key stakeholders to strengthen relationships, drive strategy implementation, and ensure Splice's presence and impact in the education sector.
- Lead executive level communication on roadmap progress, key milestones, and learnings
- Work closely with Product Development to prioritize and make trade-off decisions on how to progress the education roadmap
- Own our metrics. Be data and numbers driven in decision making and drive forward the XFN Education team in delivering impact on Splice's KPIs
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- 12+yrs of experience working in Education GTM or Education Business Development for a technology company
- Proven ability to work with product development and multiple stakeholders to drive business objectives
- Strong relationships within the education ecosystem with comfortability interfacing with administrators, teachers, and students
- Clear communicator with proven ability to engage with Company leadership and executives in a concise, direct, and transparent manner
- Passionate about music and music education
- Experience in music industry, music production and/or music technology a plus
The national pay range for this role is $180,000 - $220,000. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience.
