We are looking for an experienced Director of Behavioral Health Programs. What we offer:

The Behavioral Health Program is a vital part of ShelterCare and this role will provide leadership for its programs with a clinical aspect. This position provides expertise to the agency in the areas of clinical supervision, risk management, crisis response, and Oregon Health Authority rules as they pertain to Behavioral Health activities.
This position directly supervises seven employees and indirectly supervises five employees. The candidate is expected to support various other departments with clinical navigation issues with clients.

After training this position may be eligible for remote hybrid work.
This is a full-time exempt position that will report to the CEO. The salary for this role is $85,500 to $93,550 per year, depending on a number of factors including experience. Plus a $2000 Sign-On Bonus!

What you bring to ShelterCare:
Required
- Five years of experience working with unhoused and/or SPMI populations with progressive growth in administrative and program development. (This is a must have)
- Must be a LPC or LCSW
- Must be a QMHP-R or QMHP-C
- Knowledge of Oregon Administrative Rules governing mental health and Behavioral Health services.
- Knowledge of HIPAA and 42 CFR, Part 2.
- Must be able to pass an Oregon DHS Background Check.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Professional writing skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels.
