Responsibilities:
The identified candidate will be responsible for the contracts and fiscal monitoring of State funding to our County’s Aging and Disability Resource Center. Under the direction of the Human Services Director, the Director of Aging would develop, implement, and monitor the inner agency programs - Nutrition, Information and Assistance, Adult Protective Services, Care Management, Legal, Community Care for the Elderly, Disabled, and Fiscal, which includes budget planning for the Area Plan (price per unit cost) and midyear planning in the budget for program allocations.
- Plans, organizes, reviews, evaluates, and personally performs activities to implement a variety of Aging programs.
Administers the provision of the Federal Older American Act as applicable at a local level.
- Acts as principal advocate for all the needs of the elderly in the Burlington County area.
- Prepares contracts, recommendations, resolutions, correspondence, and related materials.
- Management of Personnel.
- Outreach to both the business and residential communities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
