Position Details
The Director of Admissions: Operations and Processing leads a dynamic team overseeing critical aspects of the admissions process and operations and ensures the seamless flow and accuracy of undergraduate and graduate applications. This role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, including but not limited to managing the operations staff, residency determination and reclassification for tuition purposes, error reporting, data management, and direct supervision of various admissions processes and personnel.
- Master’s degree or the equivalent combination of education or experience
- Three years of relevant experience working in higher education or a related field
- Previous experience using Student Information Systems such as Ellucian’s BANNER and CRM technologies
- Experience with system integration, operation, and data management.
- Exceptional organizational skills, including planning, documenting processes, improving efficiencies, and managing shifting priorities.
- Demonstrated conceptual, innovative, and strategic thinking for problem-solving.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written communication, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate data and make decisions or recommendations.
- Strong follow-through and attention to detail.
